For those who are primarily concerned with the generation of income, or are in the core of a "balanced" portfolio strategy, we primarily invest in intermediate duration, fixed income investments in government and investment grade corporate issues. By stressing limited rate anticipation and marketability, we produce consistent returns through a disciplined approach to portfolio construction. We do not attempt to anticipate the next move in interest rates, but simply guide the duration of the portfolio to that of a particular index.
